Our story

We started inside a business, supporting people we knew by name. That hasn't really changed.

FNS was founded in 2004 as an internal IT department. We knew our colleagues, we knew the work, and we cared whether things actually got fixed. When other UK businesses started asking if we could do the same for them, we said yes , and brought that in-house mindset with us.

Why we started

Because internal IT teams know something most providers forget.

When you support the people sitting at the next desk, you can't hide behind a portal or a script. You learn to listen first, explain clearly, and fix things properly , because you have to look those people in the eye tomorrow morning.

That's the standard we set when FNS became a managed service for other UK businesses, and it's the standard we still hold ourselves to today. Embedded. Accountable. Human.

What we believe

IT should be a quiet superpower, not a constant drama.

Most businesses don't need cutting-edge anything. They need the basics done consistently well, by people who care, with strategic guidance when bigger decisions come along. That's the whole job , and we take it seriously.

Plain English, always

If we can't explain it without jargon, we don't understand it well enough.

Long term over fast wins

We'd rather lose a sale than start a relationship that's wrong for either side.

Pick up the phone

Tickets are useful. Conversations are better. We do both.

Quietly competent

The best IT is the IT you stop thinking about.

Meet the team

Real people. Named engineers. Actual relationships.

We're a small, deliberately tight team of engineers, consultants and account leads. Every client knows who's looking after them , and so do we. Here's a bit about us.
